Ingredients
Bulgogi Sauce
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp + 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp ginger (minced)
- 1 tsp garlic (minced)
Ground Beef
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ yellow onion (diced)
Toppings
- 1 tbsp scallion (diced)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 4 large soft boiled eggs
Instructions
Prepare the meatballs before making the sauce.
- In a medium bowl combine the ingredients for the bulgogi sauce.
- Mix well to combine and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef and onion and cook until browned (about 5 minutes). The meat will still be a little pink.
- Add the bulgogi sauce and mix well.
- Simmer for 6–10 more minutes, and remove from heat.
- Serve on top of rice.
- Top with scallions, toasted sesame seeds, and a soft boiled egg.
